Review

Man with a Mission is a group whose main draw is that they all perform wearing wolf masks, and since each member uses stage names only, nobody knows their true identities. Another significant point is that for a Japanese band, their songs are sung mostly in English. To top it off, their English makes sense grammatically, and I found their pronunciation is surprisingly near-native level.

This album was released to celebrate Man with a Mission's 10th anniversary, releasing their first song back in 2010. As a result, this album contains a collection of their best songs over the past 10 years, including 2 songs that were released in their most recent album earlier in 2020. Oddly enough, while it is meant to celebrate their 10th anniversary, the earliest song on this album is from 2012.
While not related to the content of the album itself, what I found to be pretty neat is a separate booklet containing full Japanese translations of their songs. As Man with a Mission's songs are mostly performed in English with little bits of Japanese mixed in between, no doubt many Japanese fans will appreciate this small, but significant extra.

Since this is an anniversary album, naturally it will consist of their most popular songs from the past 10 years. The fact that it contains 17 tracks also makes it good value for money. Even if you have very little to no Japanese proficiency, I believe people who are curious about this band can still enjoy listening to Man with a Mission, and Man with a "Best" Mission makes for a perfect entry level album for newcomers to this band.
