Better plot compared to Matrix Reloaded, nice visuals for the Zion battle.
Some moments and scenes recieving more treatement than others, ending was too sudden.
Review

With Neo discovering the bitter truth that he is nothing more than a calculated program, the war between man and machine continues on.

Following immediately after Matrix Reloaded, Morpheus, Trinity, Nyobi and the other surviving ship members decide to head back to Zion, and assist in the inevitable battle with the machines that will happen in a matter of hours. Neo makes the choice to head to the Machine city and confront the Source, in the hope of ending the war once and for all.
Though the previous film was setting up the plot for this film, this film certainly made a lot more sense compared to Matrix Reloaded. I actually had a pretty good idea what was going on.

The characters and their devlopment was bit of an improvement over Reloaded, and even Neo is a bit more humane, in that he's no longer sure of his purpose, after finding the truth in the last movie. However, the rest of the characters seem to have ignored what happened in the last movie, but they've also been given a bit of personality boost.

In terms of of music, I never really did pay attention to it again, except the Neo vs. Agent Smith battle. It did suit the mood of the fight in all its glory, but it didn't have that feel of the fate of humanity rests on the shoulders of Neo sort of thing.
Again, there was the issue of not being able to hear the speech properly, especially the Source, though this is most likely the problem of the cinema I went to once again.

Some parts of the movie were a bit overloaded with graphics, while in other instances it was well suited, such as the Zion battle.
Another part that I had a problem with, was how some moments recieved too much treatment , and others didn't get enough. When you watch the movie, you'll understand where I'm coming from. There was one particular moment where I was thinking to myself 'hurry up and get on with it!'.

The Matrix Revolutions was better than the last movie, but not by much. The reason for this, is because of its ending; it was wrapped up too quickly, without giving the right amount of treatment to certain scenes and moments. Personally, I was disappointed with how the Neo vs. Agent Smith battle ended, even though it started off well. If you've seen the previous two films, you might as well see this.
