Evangelion 13

The first known instance of the "Mark" series of Evangelions, the Mark.06 was constructed on Nerv's lunar 7th Branch, Tabgha Base. However, the secret nature of its construction suggests that this Evangelion was intended to be developed for another purpose. It is said that its construction is different compared to previous Evangelion models, though details are unknown.

It appears to not require an external power cable to operate, suggesting a type of internal power source that allows the Mark 06 to operate for extended, if not unlimited, period of time. In addition, it seemingly has the ability to levitate by generating a halo in a similar fashion to some of the Angels. Another feature of the Mark 06 is its pilot interface. Compared to other Evangelions, the entry plug appears to have a much wider field of view.

Its only known armament is the Spear of Cassius, which appears to have the power to disable Evangelions that are struck by it. Combined with the Mk.06's ability to hit small targets over great distances displays the Evangelion's performance, and even the abilities of the pilot. However, the Evangelion appears to have no other armaments to use once the spear has been thrown. It doesn't even appear to be equipped with any progressive knives, an armament that has been standard in other Evangelions.

Given the secretive nature surrounding its development, Evangelion Mark.06 seems to serve a purpose beyond mere combat. This is further supported by the fact that SEELE is directly involved in its construction.
